We’re Dave and Gilles.  A couple of guys from Canada who are deeply in love and deeply love to travel.  We've set off on a voyage around the world.  We will be visiting places in Europe, Africa and Asia over 7 months from September 2017 though March 2018. 

We are both originally from Canada's east coast and now call Toronto home.  We travel frequently, but like most folks, typically this has been for 1 or 2 weeks at a time.  We wanted to do something different and enjoy what this crazy world has to offer.  Luckily we have work places that allowed us to plan this amazing adventure and take this time off together.

We have just begun our travels and have been in Europe for less than two weeks.  We have been through three countries thus far and just making plans for number four.  We had decided to not plan too much ahead of time with each next destination up in the air.  Right now we are planning about a week ahead.  We will see where the adventure takes us.

We now live out of backpacks, hopping from place to place.  Our current trajectory is taking us from central Europe, south through the Balkans.  From there, who knows.  All we know for certain is that we have a flight booked to get us to Asia at the end of December.
